With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Gillett brings significant listening skills, therapeutic insight, and pastoral wisdom to individual sessions with clients. Specialties includes family dynamics, individual stress management, substance abuse, trauma, and vocational counseling. Family systems and multigenerational consulting is also available.

Stress in society has ramped up and so has the compassion fatigue of the professional helpers. Pastors, Counselors, Therapists, and Social Workers are understandably staggering under increased workloads and caseload intensity. Dr. Gillett brings a skilled and nuanced support to those who help others. He also helped start, and then facilitated for over a decade, the dual track MSW/M.Div program at Western Theological Seminary and has walked alongside many professional helpers over the years.
